The Child Within
Your eyes sparkle like the stars,
Your smile brightens a cloudy day.
A child within, shy and afraid,
Peeks out at the world today.
Trapped inside the body of a man,
Feels the security of a promised land.
Always wanting to come out,
Sees the deamons scream and shout.
Seeing the violence of today,
Cries wildly for yesterday.
What I see is the child in you.
Wanting to be free,
If we could live in harmony.
But until then,
He'll spend an eternity within.

Do I love you?
I lay here at night looking at you.
I wonder what life would be like without you.
You hold me and kiss me for only a few moments.
And I wonder if the words we say are true?
I love you.
You are sure but I am not.
When you look at me, all I see is nothing.
Your eyes show no story as to your love for me.
And your soul is far away.
I torture myself everyday wondering if I can bear the pain.
And wondering if I do love you....

In Your Arms
In your arms I want to lay. Holding you tight, And looking in your eyes. I dream of you and what will be, With you by my side, Is where I want to be. To many miles are between us, And all the obsticles too. But in the end love will provail, We will be together. Heart and soul living as one.

Love Hides By Jim Morrison
Love hides in the strangest places
Love hides in familiar faces
Love comes when you least expect it
Love hides in narrow corners
Love comes for those who seek it
Love hides inside the rainbow, yeah
Love hides in molecular structures, yeah
Love is the answer

When I close my eyes
When I close my eyes all I see is black.
But then the light comes and I can see.
I see a place so beautiful i know it is not real,
Harmony is everywhere.
There are unicorns, dragons and creatures of the forest,
And in the middle I see you.
Tall and handsome.
With eyes like the stars in the sky above,
Your smile can calm the storm.
I walk up to you and we are united,
In our place among our dreams.
Together we walk with our animals,
Basking in the love of our place.
And I awaken.
Ripped from the one place safe that I want to be.
But somehow and someway I will return,
Only to be with you. |
